Every SleepScore Daily recommendation is backed by overnight measurement data.
Every product receives a score from 1.0 to 10.0 across five sleep-relevant criteria. The overall sleep score is a weighted average, with weights determined by each criterion's documented impact on overnight rest quality.
We purchase every product at full retail price from the same channels available to our readers. We do not accept free review units.
Each product category has a standardized overnight testing protocol developed by our sleep science team.
Subjective sleep impact is evaluated by a panel of at least three testers representing different sleep profiles. Scores are averaged equally.
Our minimum test period is two weeks, extending to three months for products where long-term sleep impact matters.
Every product is compared against at least five direct competitors under identical overnight conditions.
